Anna Sanders expected an anonymous (and uneventful) senior year until she crossed paths with rich-and-sexy Jack Kyser and his twin sister Lucy. Pulling Anna into their extravagant lifestyle on the Gulf Coast, Lucy pushed Anna outside her comfort zone, and Jack showed her feelings she’d never experienced... Until he mysteriously withdrew. Okay, where to start? I had no expectations for this book. I guessed it was a good summer read and at least I had right about that. I got so freakin' annoyed with the protagonist Anna that I just wanted to throw my Kindle right into the wall. I can understand she has feelings for two different guys but what's up with all the kissing? Does it make things better? Easier? No, she's just digging a bigger hole for herself. Oh my. And the lack of self-confidence? Yeah, I really don't know what to say about her.

I can also point out that the story is full of klichés. Rich guy meets less rich girl, a third guy enters. The girl is the weaker one and of course one of the guys is a bad guy and the other's a mothers dream. Well, I won't bore you to death with details but it's not a book I would recommend. It was easy to read though and I got trough it very fast.

This is the first installment in a trilogy (I think..) and the second book is coming out in a few weeks. Maybe I'll read it just to get to know what happens but you shouldn't count on it ;)
